ATLAS Detector Integration Conflicts Checking
Project Responsables:
from CERN: Marzio Nessi
from Center: Alexander Sharmazanashvili, Archil Surmava, Vladimer Shekriladze, Besik Kekelia
Year : 2005
Purpose of this project is detection of clashes and clearances of given model with "rest" of ATLAS detector by modeling of full Detector environment in CATIA and calculating possible conflicts on the base of facet models. Results are documented in reports which are available on web for detailed consideration by various designer teams.
Clash between JD Piping Traction System and Reference Alignment Ray, ATLAS Detector 17/03/2006
Clearance between JD Piping Traction System and Muon Chambers, ATLAS Detector 17/03/2006
Conflict checking life cycle foresee execution of various remote procedures by using CERN remote sources.
The integration conflict checking was performed in accordance with the methodology developed by the CATIA Center. More than 700 conflict reports were generated, documenting identified clashes and clearance issues to facilitate their timely resolution.
