The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Batiashvili, delivered a speech at the CERN Cognitive Festival at the Technical University of Georgia, on the importance of international scientific and educational development in Georgia, the value of innovative technologies, and the positive results of youth involvement in it.Batiashvili praised the fact that celebrations of CERN\’s scientific and educational activities have become a tradition at Georgian Technical University, and noted that such activities increase interest in science and motivate creativity among 15-20 year old youth interest in science and motivate creativity, which gives them a unique opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills for their foreign peers.
