IPPOG MASTERCLASS (CMS) AT “CERN COGNITIVE FESTIVAL IN GEORGIA”

IPPOG Masterclasses are for school children and I-II year univeristy students. IPPOG Masterclass was held on the second day of Cognitive Festival in Georgia and it was about CMSDetector . Moderator of this Masterclass was Prof. Manfred KRAMMER from CERN.

During Masterclass lectures were held by Prof KRAMMER Natascha (OEAW) and Prectical Sessions were organized by Dr SURMAVA Archil (GTU/NEC). Themes for the lectures were : “Particle Physics and its History” , “The LHC and the CMS detector” and the Practical Sessions were : “CMS Event Display tools” and IPPOG Exercises on CMS Events.

After the participants of this MasterClass took quiz Natascha KRAMMER presented Evaluation of Results.
