Full-stack developer Shota Tevdorashvili has concluded his contract with NEC. He joined NEC as a trainee in a course led by Alexander Sharmazanashvili, and quickly distinguished himself by completing the entire program in just one month—the fastest completion ever recorded at NEC. Afterwards, he became a stager and joined CERN collaborative projects focused on developing browser-based visualization applications. Within only two months, he was already capable of performing tasks independently.
One of Shota’s first assignments was to work on the database for the 3D event display application used in the CERN/IPPOG International Masterclasses. His timely identification and resolution of critical database issues saved several masterclass sessions and demonstrated his strong sense of responsibility, technical competence, and motivation.
At the next stage, together with his colleague Shota Chlaidze, he contributed to the modification and upgrade of the Core module of the Tracer application, delivering a new core that now supports the entire Tracer framework https://tracer-core.web.cern.ch/
One of his most valuable contributions was the joint development—again with Shota Chlaidze—of a new version of Tracer-MC, the application used for the CERN/IPPOG International Masterclasses. This included building both the back-end and front-end components, introducing an improved user interface and expanding functionality https://tracer-mc.web.cern.ch
The new Tracer-MC application was officially accepted by the IPPOG Collaboration Board as the designated platform for the 2026 masterclasses and has been deployed via the official IPPOG resource portal https://ippog-masterclasses-website.web.cern.ch
