FAIR EOI MEETING

Georgian CAD/CAM Engineering Center (GCCEC) was participated into Expression of Interests (EoI) meeting for HESR project of FAIR. It was declared that GCCEC has qualified engineering manpower with positive experience of participation in European projects and express interest to have a wide contribution into execution of engineering working packages for FAIR. Amount of resource to be involved will be ~ 20 engineers/year and working fields as follow can be covered – Mechanical designing in CATIA V5, Design data migration in CATIA V5, Integration conflicts checking, Dynamical modeling of installation, System customization, FEA analyzes (see details here…). Since the FAIR project has been launched on November 7th, 2007, and received Expression of Interest cover the vast majority of the work packages, it was agreed during the second FAIR accelerator institutional and information meeting to ask the laboratories to join the Technical Meetings on the respective FAIR Accelerator.
