CAD/CAM Engineering center done engineering calculations of End-Cap Toroid (ECT) installation. It was dynamically checked the ECT movement starting from on ground surface up to underground (100m) final position. It was extremely important for ATLAS to know exact path of ECT movement, while ECT has large dimensions (10Mx10Mx5M) and weight ~280tonns; also underground environment is too dense with available clearance during movement less then 100mm. On the base of dynamical conflict checking collisions where detected and serious damages were prevented. Finally, optimal path of ECT lifting was found. Analysis was done on CATIA V5 platform (see report for details)
