GCCEC has prepared proposal to Minister of education and science of Georgia for the establishing of nuclear engineering study in Georgian high education school. Proposal foreseen modification of existing curricula and preparation of new education program in nuclear engineering. Establishment of proposed subject gives opportunity to high education students in Georgia to be involved in European nuclear projects like LHC (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland), ITER (Marseille, France), FAIR (Darmstadt, Germany) and become more competitive on international labor market after finishing the university. Also GCCEC gives preposition to Georgian Technical University for the cooperation in ATLAS (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) software development in order to built base for the student involvement in state-of-the-art nuclear engineering project. That cooperation was strongly recommended by deputy minister of science and education of Georgia Mr. Nodar Surguladze.
