STARTING NEW MASTER’S PROGRAM

Member of Georgian CAD/CAM Engineering Center, Nikoloz Sharmazanashvili signed a one year contract with Forschungszentrum Juelich (FZJ) for accomplishing Master’s program. According to this contract Nikoloz will have to perform research works dealing with innovative methodologies of mechanical computer aided design. Research works will be held in FZG Department for Technology (ZAT) engineering division and will be monitored by professor Dirk Grunwald. FZG will cover all expenses of this Masters program. In 2008 Nikoloz Sharmazanashvili successfully graduated from Tbilisi State University, and applied for Master’s degree. From 2005 to 2009 he has been directed to ATLAS technical coordination office at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, where was working as CATIA designer, performing designing works in CATIA. He was selected and invited by Dassault Systemes team to take part in ASEE Global Colloquium that took place in Cape Town, SA. Projects presented by Nikoloz Sharmazanashvili (Presentation for Global Engineering Colloquium) are collaborative projects between GCCEC and FJZ and later on he received invitation for Master’s work in FZJ, Germany. FZJ agrees to cover all expenses including living and travel.
