GCCEC issue decree of commendation to 2 members – Archil SURMAVA and Nikoloz TSUTSKIRIDZE for the successful tasks they have done for ATLAS simulation. Archil SURMAVA has completed new small wheel assembly transformation from CATIA to XML and done corresponding
GCCEC has done analysis of ATLAS coils position using simulation packages (XML). It was found ~32mm discrepancy between real position and XML. Report has been shared with ATLAS simulation community which brought lot of discussion about the possible effect. (download
GCCEC signed new memorandum of cooperation with Georgian Technical University. Both parties have agreed with joint participation in ATLAS (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) software development project. GCCEC will provide join team with 3D geometrical CATIA modelling and C++ programming staff, with

GCCEC and University of Georgia (Tbilisi, Georgia) signed memorandum about collaboration and joint activity with CERN (Geneva, Switzerland). It was declared that memorandum will contribute considerably into the development of curriculum of educational programs at University and support University students
GCCEC initiate meeting between collaborative parties about the status of development of COOL Tag Browser for ATLAS software. E.Gallas (Oxford), A.Formica (Sacley), D.Barberis (CERN), M.Borodin (CERN) where attended. Also, D.South (Desy, Germany) and group from GTU (Georgia) were connected remotely.
GCCEC announced placement of new release (R10) of Tag Browser in to production folder. It means that Browser now available for end-users. Generation of test version was announced on ATLAS software week in mid of October, 2012. Since there GCCEC
