2014 STUDENT PROGRAM STARTED AT CERN

PhD student of Georgian Technical University (GTU) Niko TSUTSKIRIDZE has been arrived at CERN for 6 month research program. Niko is 2nd year PhD student of GTU working in same time with GET since 2011. He has successfully passed (in 2012) masters training program in GTU and continue research within PhD program. Subject of his scientific research is methods of geometry modelling implemented nowadays in ATLAS simulation packages. His goal is to fulfil existing simulation flow with new tools, like CATIA, Geant-4 visualisation, etc. investigation of outputs and building of new methodology for geometry modelling.
