GCCEC RECEIVED FAVOURABLE REPORT

GCCEC received favourable report on the presentation of the dissertation work by masters student of Georgian Technical University Nikoloz TSUTSKIRIDZE on “Development of Geometrical Descriptions of Magnet System of ATLAS Detector for the Simulation and Reconstruction Software Packages”. It was assumed that:

1) Applicant showed that he has a very good understanding of the problems he had to solve, of the methodology to be applied and of the solutions he found.
2) Work is very useful for the improvement of the geometrical description of the ATLAS detector used by Simulation and Reconstruction programs.
3) Dissertation work corresponds to the highest quality.
