NEW PROJECT HAS BEEN STARTED

New addendum of agreement AA177/04 has been signed in Geneva, Switzerland by CERN Technical Support Department (TS) and Georgian CAD/CAM Engineering Center (GCCEC). It was announced that ATLAS agreement AA177/ is being executed successfully; an extension of the Agreement is necessary as CERN needs more manpower to organize Euclid to CATIA database migration activity. GCCEC takes responsibility to translate and correct about 2500 additional 3D models into CATIA editable models, following the original Euclid models. The financial arrangements are extended on 4’000CHF/month corresponding to two additional designers in Georgia that have to be paid from CERN directly to GCCEC. Both of parties concerned also agreed about prolongation of the addendum. It will be evaluated at the end of January, 2009 on the basis of the results reached.
