SIGNING NEW AGREEMENT

New agreement between CERN – European Organization of Nuclear Physics and Georgian CAD/CAM engineering center was signed in Geneva, Switzerland. Agreement sets out the administrative framework which shall apply to the participation in the collaboration at CERN IT department by the persons designated by the engineering center. The activity would be in the area of support and especially the deployment of all engineering CAE/CAD tools in the Windows environment applying the Windows msi technology and the different methods to modify and adapt the tool deployment to CERN’s environment. For this purpose center’s stuff will be rotated every 9 month on project associate position at CERN. Georgian CAD/CAM engineering center has already signed agreement with CERN – ATLAS experiment in 2004, developing ATLAS detector 3D CATIA model and participating into integration conflicts checking activity for ATLAS TCn, accordingly.
