INTERNATIONAL MASTERCLASS IN PARTICLE PHYSICS

Our group Manager Alexander Sharmazanasvhili presented “Update on Passive Materials “for platforms at Muon Week (Muon Software & Performance). Key points of the presentation were Methodology of the workflow, overall results and compare analysis for different projects. Conclusion of the presentation were such:

1. Passive materials descriptions of Muon are far away from the detector ‘as-built’ geometry.
2. The difference is varying from 13% to 98%.
3. The differences can cause the Data-MC discrepancies.
