DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TAG BROWSER

GCCEC announced placement of new release (R10) of Tag Browser in to production folder. It means that Browser now available for end-users. Generation of test version was announced on ATLAS software week in mid of October, 2012. Since there GCCEC was testing software and fixing bugs. Revolutionary in R10 is integration of two data platforms – COOL DB and COMA tables into one framework. Now users are able to do tag navigations into one platform and continue navigation in another by switching the button. So, cash ability of switcher makes possible to compare results coming from the different platforms. Also, much other new functionality was added, like search, bookmarking, etc. Development of Tag Browser software tool is one of the working packages implemented by GCCEC according to ATLAS agreement AA366/10.
