GCCEC ON ATLAS S/C WORKSHOP

ATLAS Software & Computing workshop was held at CERN, Geneva Switzerland starting from Monday, 12 July 2010 to Friday, 16 July 2010. Workshop was chaired by Kors Bos, general coordinator of ATLAS software collaboration. Several plenary sessions were worked in parallel and connected to worldwide collaborative institutes through the Phone Bridge and EVO access. GCCEC was participated in Databases session (see details here… key: sw2010). COOL tag browser has been described. Place of tag browser, browsing hierarchy with 4 levels of items distribution, baseline functionality, appi-server architecture and interface, were discussed (download presentation here …). Development of tag browser is one of the subjects of collaboration between ATLAS CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, GCCEC, Tbilisi, Georgia and Georgian Technical University starting from January, 2010. Two other working packages include development of cavern background geometry and event visualization 3D display.
