Mr. Charles C. Young, group leader from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory at Stanford University has visited GCCEC office at CERN. SLAC has collaborative project with CERN and is responsible for the development of ATLAS cavern background simulation software using FLUGG http://slac.stanford.edu. Together with GCCEC it was considered ATLAS CATIA geometry which was developed by GCCEC during the 5 years collaborative activity with CERN. SLAC express interest to cooperate with GCCEC to develop ATLAS geometry for FLUGG simulation. It was emphasized importance of possibility to work in virtual office with sharing the engineering desktops between GCCEC Tbilisi office and SLAC office in Stanford. First possible working packages have been defined.
