3D Event Display: A Q&A Session with Alexander Sharmazanashvili

The Chief Manager of the Nuclear Engineering Center, Alexander Sharmazanashvili, was invited to an online Q&A session to discuss the ATLAS 3D event display application developed by our team.

Alexander answered questions about various aspects of the application’s development, including the software, tools, programming languages, and libraries used. He also discussed the challenges faced during development, the algorithms implemented, and the innovations introduced that set this application apart from previous event display systems. Additionally, he explained how the application is structured, its user interface, and its ease of use.

The session was attended by members of CERN and the International Particle Physics Outreach Group.
