Nuclear Engineering Center Welcomes A New Software Developer

Giorgi Bokhochadze has joined the Nuclear Engineering Center (NEC) as the new Lead Programmer and Team Lead for their cutting-edge Tracer VR Project. Giorgi, a computer engineering graduate of San Diego State University, brings to this innovative position a wealth of experience as a developer, QA engineer, and enthusiastic game developer. Giorgi is well-known for his imaginative contributions to several competitive game jams and is an expert at creating captivating digital experiences on short notice.

Giorgi will now use these abilities to spearhead the development of a revolutionary virtual reality experience, painstakingly recreating the ATLAS Detector cavern. Through a fully immersive first-person viewpoint, users will explore and interact with the environment, gaining unique insights into particle physics and nuclear engineering.
