GCCEC ON ATLAS SIMULATION MEETING

GCCEC participated on ATLAS Simulation meeting held during the ATLAS week at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. GCCEC investigations of ATLAS magnet system description in simulation/reconstruction software packages were discussed. During the 20 minutes report done by Alexander Sharmazanashvili at CERN and group of GCCEC engineers on-line, GCCEC represent results of reproduction of ATLAS coil model done by GCCEC in CATIA and results of comparison of CATIA model with FLUGG and G4 models. ATLAS simulation community concluded that received differences are important and issue request to GCCEC for continuation of future simplification of CATIA model of ATLAS coil and generation of C++ codes for G4 applications.
