RELEASE 6.0 OF TAG BROWSER HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

ATLAS software collaboration announced new software package ATLAS COOL tag browser and put it in repository for new release of ATLAS software. Tag browser was developed by GCCEC. Responsible persons are Lado Shekriladze and George Gvaberidze. Software permits user interaction with oracle database through the web. The baseline functionality includes – open navigation; displaying tag hierarchy, name description, status; comparison of two global tags; displaying tag channels; channel search. Development of tag browser is one of the subjects of collaboration between ATLAS CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, GCCEC, Tbilisi, Georgia and Georgian Technical University starting from January, 2010. Two other working packages include development of cavern background geometry and event visualization 3D display.
