Member of Georgian CAD/CAM Engineering Center, Nikoloz Sharmazanashvili has presented two student projects and was selected and invited by Dassault Systemes team to take part in ASEE Global Colloquium that took place in Cape Town, SA. Both projects presented by Nikoloz Sharmazanashvili ((Presentation for Global Engineering Colloquium)) are collaborative projects between GCCEC (Georgian CAD/CAM Engineering Center) and Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany. The first project represents a 3D model of Sextupol MXL magnet for HESR accelerator designed in CATIA from 2D corresponding drawings. The second project also designed in CATIA concerns the construction modification of an existing Super Conducting magnet for COSY experiment. Modified magnet is used for the FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) international experiment (Darmstadt, Germany) http://www.gsi.de/fair/
