Addendum of Agreement AA 177/04 has been signed in Geneva, Switzerland by ATLAS TCn authorities and chief manager of Georgian CAD/CAM engineering center. According to this new contract ATLAS will pay additional 48’000CHF/year to engineering center in Georgia to enforce the Euclid_to_CATIA migration procedure. Stuff in Georgia has to be extract models from CERN database, edit them according to requirements of successful conversion into CATIA editable models and register it back into CERN database of standards. At least 3 CAD/CAM designers will be involved in this activity from Georgia. They will be managed remotely from CERN. Project will start from 1st of the May, 2006. 1st stage will be finished in 30 of April, 2007. ATLAS TCn and Georgian CAD/CAM engineering center has already signed agreement of collaboration AA 177/04 in 2004. ATLAS paying 48’000CHF per year accordingly to dedicated account of engineering center in Georgia. Engineers from center are involved in ATLAS detector integration conflict checking and migrated to CATIA models checking activity (detailed results are here www.cern.ch/dmu-atlas).
